Charger types
Matched to dwell time7 kW AC
Single-phase, 32 ALong stays and overnight: hotel guests, staff who park all day, homes. Adds roughly 25–30 miles of range an hour.
22 kW AC
Three-phase, 32 A per phaseWorkplaces and public car parks. Most cars take 11 kW on AC, so a load-managed rank of 22 kW posts shares a supply well.
50 kW DC rapid
Three-phase supply, DC to the carRetail, hospitality and fleet top-ups. Charges most cars from 20% to 80% in under an hour.
150 kW+ DC ultra-rapid
High-capacity connectionForecourts, charging hubs and depots. Usually needs a new HV connection, a substation or storage behind it.

A workplace rank, delivered with the car park open
A row of pedestal chargers across a working office car park. We took it from load study to switch-on under one contract, working with our trusted partners on the civils.
- 01Survey and load study of the building’s existing supply
- 02Cable route ducted back to the intake
- 03Concrete plinths cast on the bay line
- 04Pedestal chargers fixed, terminated, earthed and tested
- 05Barriered and reinstated a bay at a time — the car park stayed open
- 06Commissioned and connected to the back office

FAQHow many chargers can my existing supply take?
Count the kilowatts: six 22 kW posts is 132 kW. Our load study measures the real headroom, then shows whether load management, storage or an upgrade is needed.
What is the difference between 7 kW, 22 kW and rapid chargers?
7 kW is single-phase AC for long stays and overnight. 22 kW is three-phase AC for workplaces and car parks. DC rapids from 50 kW charge most cars in under an hour.
Do I need a new grid connection for EV charging?
Not always. There are three routes — upgrade the supply, dynamic load management, or storage-backed charging — and we price all three against your load profile.
Do you do the groundworks as well?
Yes. We manage excavation, ducting, cabling, plinths, feeder pillars, reinstatement and traffic management, using our own team and experienced specialist subcontractors.
Can the car park stay open during the works?
Yes. We barrier, dig, backfill and reinstate a bay at a time so the site keeps trading.
